Laura Brown - Principal Agent
Laura Brown is a Boise native and co-owner of Fredriksen Health Insurance, where she proudly leads alongside her brother. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Babson College in Boston and began her career in both public and private accounting, developing a strong foundation in financial strategy and operations. In 2015, Laura transitioned into the insurance industry, bringing her analytical expertise and passion for helping others to the family business.
Laura works closely with Idaho employers to design forward-looking employee benefits strategies that align with their long-term goals. She is passionate about helping leadership teams think beyond annual renewals; focusing instead on sustainable cost management, employee experience, and strategic planning that supports organizational growth.
As the EOS Integrator for the agency, Laura has found a deep passion for building a strong, values-driven organization. She is dedicated to continuously improving operations, developing her team, and creating an environment where employees can do their best work while serving clients at the highest level.
Outside of the office, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young daughters, who love exploring Idaho’s outdoors, playing soccer and Irish Dance. Their home is also lively with two dogs, a cat, and even a fish. Laura is an active member of the Boise Sunrise Rotary Club, where she serves as Foundation Chair, reflecting her deep commitment to giving back to the community.
Andrea Berry – Account Manager / Insurance Agent
Andrea is originally from Idaho Falls and relocated to Boise to pursue her education at Boise State University. After graduating, she kick-started her career at Micron, a renowned technology company. However, she eventually found herself working in the trucking insurance industry. She took a break in her career to focus on her two exceptional children while they were young, knowing that time was precious. As the kids become more self-sufficient, in 2019, she decided to join Fredriksen Health Insurance. She is driven by her desire to provide businesses with an elevated level of service. Andrea works closely with employers and employees in assisting them in understanding and administering employee benefit plans.
She and her husband are passionate travelers, making the most of their free time to explore different destinations. Besides traveling, they also enjoy watching movies and football. Additionally, Andrea takes immense pride in supporting her daughter's college soccer games.
Ann Byce – Insurance Agent
Ann Byce is a dedicated health insurance specialist with a strong background in customer service and the dental field. With her expertise in these areas, Ann is able to provide her clients with personalized and comprehensive insurance solutions that meet their specific needs. Ann is a lifelong learner who thrives on challenges. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ann is a loving wife to Keith and a proud mother to two wonderful sons, Jaden and Asher. Their family is completed by their energetic blue Heeler named Scotch, who brings joy and excitement to their lives.
Outside of work, Ann enjoys indulging in her passion for cooking and baking. She finds great satisfaction in creating delicious meals and treats for her family and friends. When she's not in the kitchen, Ann can be found snowboarding, boating, camping in the great outdoors, or exploring new destinations through traveling.

Jenifer Williams – Insurance Agent
Jenifer is an experienced professional with a diverse background. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and has spent over 25 years in the real estate industry. In 2021, she made a career change into Life, Health & Disability insurance and joined the Fredriksen Health Insurance team in June 2022.
As a widow, Jen understands the importance of being fully insured for protection and peace of mind. She brings empathy and a deep understanding of the need for comprehensive coverage to her work.
Jen also loves the outdoors and enjoys participating in various activities throughout all four seasons. However, her greatest joy comes from spending quality time with her son and dog.
With her strong background in customer service, Jen takes pride in providing our clients with peace of mind. She excels at assisting individuals, families, Medicare recipients, and groups in selecting insurance plans that best fit their unique needs.
Jo Milburn - Account Manager / Insurance Agent
Jo is a proud Boise native who has developed a successful career as an Account Manager at Fredriksen Health Insurance. With a strong background in group health insurance, Jo brings valuable expertise and knowledge to her role. As an individual who is passionate about helping others and finding the best possible solutions, Jo is excited to broaden her expertise by working with a new set of clientele. Jo's consultative approach allows her to build strong relationships with the groups she works with, ensuring that their specific needs and requirements are met. Jo cherishes her personal time spent with her son and daughter. They enjoy various outdoor activities together, such as fishing, camping, and swimming.
Cheryl Weeks - Insurance Agent
With a strong foundation in customer service and years of experience in the senior living industry, Cheryl Weeks brings a heart-centered approach to her work as a health insurance specialist. When she’s not working, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her two young adult children, Ben and Abby, and her two dogs, Honey, a lively Labrador, and Buddy, the self-proclaimed king of the house. On Sundays, you’ll find her volunteering at her church’s coffee shop, and she's also an active member of her local Rotary Club. Cheryl enjoys the outdoors and can often be found walking the Greenbelt, hiking in the foothills, riding her bike, or playing a game of pickleball.
TJ Grove - Insurance Agent
TJ began his career by earning degrees in Accounting and Finance from Boise State University, where he developed a strong analytical foundation. Following his education, he took on the role of General Manager at Merchants Moving & Storage, where he honed his leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills. His experience taught him the importance of clear communication, trust, and attention to detail—skills that have been invaluable in his career.
Now an Insurance Agent at Fredriksen Health Insurance, TJ specializes in guiding clients through Medicare, Individual, and Group Health Plans. He combines his business experience and financial background to help individuals and businesses choose the best coverage options. TJ is committed to providing clear, personalized service to clients, making the complex process of selecting healthcare plans as seamless and understandable as possible.
Outside of work, TJ is an enthusiastic fan of the Idaho Steelheads and enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends.
Kim Pennington - Insurance Agent
Kim began her insurance career in 2002, specializing in advising clients and their employees. Over the years, she has worked with businesses ranging in size from just 2 employees to as many as 600. Kim is passionate about helping clients understand and maximize their employee benefits.
In addition to her work in insurance, Kim serves as an Ambassador for the Nampa Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys connecting with local businesses through events like Ribbon Cuttings, Coffee Connects, Business & Breakfast, and the Chamber’s monthly luncheons. Kim is also committed to giving back to her community by mentoring a child each Monday morning through the Mentoring Network in Nampa. She believes that investing in the future starts with helping young people early on.
Outside of work and community involvement, Kim loves spending quality time with her husband. Whether camping, riding their side-by-side, or just relaxing at home, they always find time to enjoy each other's company. Kim is also a proud mother and grandmother to her son and grand-dog, Gizmo, who live in Arizona. She enjoys visiting them whenever she can.
